Sticky-notes stand with your picture or name
The tool makes a desk stand for sticky notes. In front is a tray made to measure for the pad: you enter the side of the pad, from 50 to 105 mm (the common one is 76 mm), and the depth, from 8 to 30 mm; the tray leaves a millimetre of play round the pad and has a cut for the thumb in front. Behind the tray stands a silhouette of your picture, or a name, 50 to 150 mm wide.
Upload the picture as an SVG or a simple high-contrast image, pick it from the library of silhouettes, or type a name in one of thirty typefaces. Between the tray and the silhouette runs a channel for a pen, which can be turned off. The stand is printed in two parts without supports: the silhouette lying flat, so both its faces are clean, and it is pushed into the slot of the tray by its foot. Each part can have its own colour.
How it works
- Choose a picture or type a name. A silhouette from the library, your own SVG or image, or a name of up to 16 characters. An uploaded picture takes precedence over the name.
- Enter the size of the pad. The side of the pad and the depth of the tray. For a hundred notes 12 mm is enough; two pads on top of one another need 22 to 25 mm.
- Set the silhouette. Change its width with the slider or by dragging the arrow in the preview, its thickness from 2.4 to 5 mm. The groove for a pen can be turned on or off.
- Order a print or download. Next to the preview you see the dimensions; the calculation after "Continue" shows the precise price. When ordering you pick the colour of the tray and of the silhouette; the model and the slicer project are free to download.
What the tool can make
Common questions
Which pads does the stand take?
Square pads of sticky notes. The most common size is 76 × 76 mm, small ones are 51 mm and big ones 101 mm; measure yours and enter the side. Rectangular pads are not supported yet.
Does the silhouette hold in the tray by itself?
Yes, the foot sits in a slot 6 mm deep with a quarter of a millimetre of play on each side. To be sure, put a drop of glue into the slot.
What picture works?
A silhouette with a wide bottom: an animal that sits or stands, a house, a tree, a heart. A shape that touches the ground in one point gets a wider foot so that it stands.
Can the tray and the silhouette have different colours?
Yes, they are two separate parts and each is printed in its own filament. You pick the colours when ordering, from those loaded in the printers right now.
How big is the stand?
With a cat 90 mm wide and a pad of 76 mm the tray is 85 × 104 mm and the whole stand is 107 mm tall. The dimensions of your own design are shown next to the preview.
How do I pay and how do I get the stand?
