About us: 3D printing on our own print farm

What we do

matplace grew out of a simple idea: 3D printing should be open to anyone with an idea, not only to people who have a printer at home.

You upload your own model, pick a designer's model or make a product in one of our tools. We check the model, orient it for printing and work out the exact price. You choose the colour and the delivery method, pay with credit and the printer starts printing.

How it works

• Upload a file, pick a model from the catalogue or make one in a tool.
• Look at the preview, the print time, the material used and the price including VAT.
• Choose the colour, quality and delivery, and pay from your credit.
• Follow the print on the order page. We send the finished print by Packeta to a pickup point or to your door.

We print it ourselves

Every order is printed on our own print farm in Czechia. We do not pass orders on to anyone else, so the result is our responsibility.

When you order, the credit is only held; it is charged once the print is finished. If the print does not start or fails through our fault, all of it comes back.

For designers

Do you design models? Publish them in your portfolio on matplace. Customers have them printed by us and you get a reward for every printed piece. You do not need a printer.

You set the reward for each model yourself. You can also allow the file to be downloaded free of charge under a licence of your choice.

Do you have your own printer?

The tools on the site are free. You can download a model as an STL file or as a ready 3MF project for your printer and print it yourself.
