A charm for a bag with holes: a picture or a name in the colours of our filaments. It is held by a pin that you push through a hole from inside the bag and glue into the pocket in the back of the charm.

The charm prints face up and the pin head down next to it, both without supports. Measure the hole of the bag and the thickness of its wall; the pin is 0.6 mm thinner than the hole. Glue it in with superglue.

Charm for a bag with holes, with your own picture

The tool makes a charm for a beach or shopping tote with holes in its wall. The face carries a picture in the colours of the filaments we have on the farm, or a name or initials; the width goes from 30 to 80 mm and the shape follows the outline of the picture, or you choose a circle or a rectangle. Upload the picture as a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG, or pick one from the library.

The charm is held by a pin that is printed right next to it: it has a wide head that stays inside the bag and a stem that goes through the hole and is glued into the pocket in the back of the charm. You enter the diameter of the hole of your bag and the thickness of its wall; the pin comes out 0.6 mm thinner than the hole and just long enough for the charm to sit on the wall. The colours of the picture lie one on another and change at given heights; our farm prints up to four colours in one print.

How it works

  1. Measure the bag. With callipers or a ruler measure the diameter of a hole and the thickness of the wall of the bag at the hole. Both numbers go into the tool.
  2. Choose a picture or type a name. Upload a picture, pick a motif from the library, or type a name and choose one of thirty typefaces.
  3. Set the size and the colours. Change the width with the slider or by dragging the arrow in the preview. The list of colours shows which spools will be used, and you can change them.
  4. Order a print or download. Next to the preview you see the dimensions; the calculation after "Continue" shows the precise price. The model and the slicer project are free to download without an account.

Common questions

Which bags does the charm fit?

Any bag with round holes in its wall: the tool goes by the dimensions you enter, not by a brand. The hole can be 6 to 20 mm across and the wall 1 to 10 mm thick.

How do I fix the charm?

Push the pin through a hole from inside the bag, put a drop of superglue on its end and set the charm on the pin by its pocket. The head of the pin is 8 mm wider than the stem, so it does not go through the hole.

Can the charm be taken off again?

Not once it is glued; it holds for good. To swap charms, leave the pin unglued and secure it with a drop of hot glue that peels off; it holds less, though.

Why is the top of the pin another colour?

It is printed next to the charm and is taller than it, so its top comes out in the last colour of the picture. That is the end that disappears in the pocket of the charm; nobody sees it.

What should the charm be printed from?

For the beach and the car choose PETG; it takes sun and heat. PLA is enough for everyday use, but it softens on a hot dashboard.

How do I pay and how do I get the charm?

You pay from prepaid credit that you top up by card; prices are shown in Czech crowns or in euros. We send the print through Packeta to a pick-up point or to an address in the EU.
