About the model

My wife and I recently built Tamiya buggies but found our Protek stick pack LIPO batteries did not fit into the chassis with the original battery cover so I designed a new high-clearance cover so we could use these slightly larger batteries. For reference, these chassis are notorious for being limited to NIMH stick packs due to size constraints. I have tested this part on both my Grasshopper II and my wife's Rising Fighter and they fit well. I printed these parts Tamiya side down with supports out of Overture PLA Pro in black. In the photos above, the stock cover is on the left and the new one is on the right.
