Nameplate in a shape with a picture

Put your nameplate together from layers: a plate in a shape, a name in one of thirty typefaces, a picture of the library or your own. Every layer has its colour and you drag it in the preview.

Input

Start from a preset
Layers (the top one is the one that lies highest)

Tap a layer here or right in the preview. In the preview, drag it to move it, drag a corner of its frame to resize it and the knob above it to turn it. The arrows change what lies on what.

It prints flat, face up, without supports. The layers lie one on another, so each colour is a filament change at a height the project carries; what lies apart is tied by a bridge.

A nameplate put together from a shape, a name and a picture

Here you put a nameplate together from layers. The plate has one of nineteen shapes: a hexagon, a heart, a star, a cloud, a bone, a banner, an arrow, a house, a car, a cat, a fish, a shield, a speech bubble and more. On it you lay a name in one of thirty typefaces and a picture from the library of silhouettes or your own. Every layer has its colour from the filaments we keep on the farm. You pick a layer by tapping it in the preview, drag it to move it, drag a corner of its frame to resize it and the knob to turn it, so the layout is all yours.

The layers lie one above another, each a step higher, so the printer only has to change the filament at the right height; on our farm we print up to four colours in one print. You can add an eyelet to hang it by: the same design is a sign for a child's door, a tag for a bag or a tag for a collar. Just want a name on a plate that sizes itself round the text? Under the choices at the start of the page there is a link to the quick form.

How it works

  1. Start from a nameplate. The page opens with a plate, the name Adéla and a star. Type your name and pick another shape of the plate.
  2. Edit the layers. Tap a layer in the list or in the preview and change its text, typeface, shape, picture and colour. In the preview you drag it to move it, drag a corner of its frame to resize it and the knob to turn it.
  3. Add more. The buttons add a second line of text, a picture or another shape, twelve layers at most. The arrows change what lies on what.
  4. Order a print or download. Next to the preview you see the dimensions; the calculation after "Continue" shows the precise price and print time. The model and the slicer project with the filament changes are free to download without an account.

Common questions

How big will the nameplate be?

As big as you set it: the width of every layer goes from 5 to 250 mm. The nameplate the page opens with is 120 × 60 mm and 4.6 mm thick.

What picture can I add?

A silhouette from the library (178 of them), an SVG with filled shapes, or a simple high-contrast PNG or JPG. What stays of a picture is its silhouette in one colour. Photographs do not suit it; the Relief and lithophane tool is for those.

Do you print a nameplate in several colours?

Yes, up to four in one print. Every layer lies a step higher, so the filament changes by height. You choose the colours from those we have in stock.

What if the text reaches over the plate?

The layout is yours: make the text smaller by dragging a corner of its frame, or make the plate bigger. What reaches over the plate is printed too, because under every layer the lower ones are filled in.

Does it work as a dog tag?

The bone with an eyelet does; for a collar choose PETG and letters at least 6 mm high. Add the phone number as one more layer of text.

How do I pay and how do I get it?

You pay from prepaid credit that you top up by card; prices are shown in Czech crowns or in euros. We send the print by Packeta to a pick-up point or to an address in the EU.
