Prints without supports: the cradle and the pocket standing the way they hang on the wall, the hook and the clip lying on their side. Holes are teardrop-shaped so they print cleanly. Keyhole: the head of the screw in the wall goes through the wide hole, the holder slides down and hangs in the narrow slot. Rounded edges are bevelled on the side that lies on the bed. For heavier things and the clip choose PETG. Wall screws: 4 mm with a plug.
A holder for a remote, a bottle, headphones or a broom
The tool builds a holder from the size of the thing you want to put away. You choose one of four types: a cradle with a low front, a closed pocket, a hook or a clip for a round handle. It suits a remote control, a bottle, tools, headphones or a broom. You enter the real size of the thing, and the tool adds the clearance around it.
The holder is fixed with wall screws or double-sided tape. The preview shows the shape with its holes, next to a rough price. We print the holder on our print farm in Czechia: it comes by Packeta to a pickup point or to your door. For your own printer you download the model free; it prints without supports. Screws, wall plugs and tape are not part of the print.
How it works
- Measure the thing. Measure the width and thickness of the thing, or the diameter of a handle. Enter the real size with no extra room.
- Choose how it holds. The cradle and the pocket wrap around the thing, the hook is for anything with a loop or a strap, and the clip grips a round handle. You can start from a preset such as "Remote control" or "Headphones".
- Choose the fixing. Leave the holes for wall screws on, or switch them off and stick the holder with double-sided tape. The holes can be round, or keyholes that hang on a screw in the wall.
- Order the print or download. Check the preview and the rough price and continue to the precise price; a print from us is paid from credit topped up by card. Or download the model for your own printer.
What the tool can make
Common questions
How big a thing can the holder take?
The thing can be 10 to 300 mm wide and 5 to 150 mm thick. The clip is only for round handles up to 60 mm in diameter.
How much weight does the holder carry?
We do not state a load; it depends on the material, the screws and the wall. For heavier things choose the strong plastic (PETG) and screws. Double-sided tape carries light things only.
Which screws do I need?
The holes are made for 4 mm screws with a wall plug. Screws and plugs are not part of the print.
What does the keyhole option mean?
The head of a screw that is already in the wall goes through the wide hole, the holder slides down and hangs in the narrow slot. To take it off, you lift it.
Should I add clearance to the size?
No. The tool adds 0.8 mm of clearance around the thing, which you can change from 0.3 to 2 mm. The clip, by contrast, is slightly tighter so that it grips the handle.
