models to printCreate your own PET filament from plástic bottles! You can find all the information, blueprints, instructions, and much more on my website: https://sites.google.com/view/ecodecat3d/home KIT For a much easier assembly, you can purchase the electronic KIT or the machine KIT. This way, you will save time and money on buying all the PCB components. Those KITs are ideal for people with no electronics knowledge, as you will avoid the need for a voltmeter and soldering iron. You just have to connect the electronic components to the PCB. Link to the electronic KIT: https://www.etsy.com/es/listing/1442974162/ecopet-kit-electronica?click_key=4e4c55818b16e6bda471ccb11cb70d19fc0f4e4e%3A1442974162&click_sum=9cdc458b&ref=shop_home_active_1 I started this project a year ago thanks to the videos by @mr3dprint, and with his help, I was able to create my own machine. Throughout this time, I have made different versions and improvements until reaching what I consider the best version: ECOPET! Features: • It has a TFT screen to intuitively control the heating block and motor speed. • Includes a simple winding system with linear guides, ensuring the filament is always uniform and orderly. • Equipped with a sensor to detect when the filament has finished extruding and an audible alarm. • Includes a precise bottle cutter capable of cutting plastic bottles into 7.10 mm thick strips. • Can extrude a 1.5L plastic bottle in 15 minutes. A bottle of this volume generates 15 - 25 grams. An 8L jug generates about 65g. PET Filament The filament is perfectly wound and has a diameter of 1.75 mm. It has properties very similar to PETG: it is strong, flexible, translucent, food-safe, and many other interesting properties. However, to achieve perfect finishes, it is necessary to dry the filament. It is advisable to dry the filament before printing, as it comes from plastic bottles (which are in contact with liquids). If not dried, the resulting parts may contain typical flaws of wet filament, such as strings, bubbles, etc. This project has taken a lot of work, so I would appreciate your support with likes and subscriptions. Thank you very much, everyone! :) The sale of the files and their commercialization is strictly prohibited. All the assembly information is on my aforementioned website.
