Description

Functional, 3D-printable hand vice/clamp. Replaceable jaws. Easy to assemble. Easy to print, no supports. Hardware Requirements: • 1x M6 Bolt - 70mm or longer (mine is 80mm on the photos) • 1x M6 Washer • 1x M6 Nut • 1x Spring Approx. 9mm in diameter x 30mm in length - optional Printing Guidelines: • Material: I've printed handles in ABS. PLA, PETG would work too, depending on your usecase • Wall count: 6+ walls for handles • Top/Bottom layers count: 6+ for handles • Infill: 20% • Everything is printed on the flat side, no supports I've printed the jaws and connector parts in PLA. Connector doesn't need to be strong, it only holds everything together when you aren't clamping things. Handles I've printed in ABS with 6 walls and top/bottom layers and something like 8 or 10 would've feel better it looks like. At least for my usecase. Assembly instructions: • Place two handles together on the flat sides and push connector in. Depending on the printer settings and material used it may be kinda hard to do, but it should click in place. • Nut goes into the knob ;) • Washer between knob and a handle. • Spring goes into two indents close to connector part. Easier to push it in after connector is in place.
