Description

Miniature Arcade Desktop Basketball with Precision Turret & Scoreboard This isn't just another desk toy; it's a fully mechanical desktop basketball game engineered for precision and gameplay. This set features a unique turret-based aiming system and a functional mechanical score counter. Key Engineering Features • Precision Turret Aiming: Unlike standard launchers that you have to pick up and move, this model uses a 3-gear mechanical system. The heavy base remains stationary while the catapult rotates independently, allowing for fine-tuned aiming without sacrificing stability. • Mechanical Score Counter: A completely analog dual-player scoreboard. Use the dials to track points from 0–9 for two players—no batteries required. • On-Board Storage: The launcher base includes a built-in, top-open enclosure to store your basketballs. • Adjustable Hoop: The telescopic stand allows you to change the height of the hoop to adjust the difficulty level. Print Settings & Recommendations To ensure the mechanical parts move smoothly, please follow these guidelines: Material: PLA or PETG (PLA is recommended for the gears for better rigidity). Layer Height: 0.2mm (0.15mm for the gears and scoreboard dials if you want a smoother feel). Wall Count: 3 perimeters (essential for the launcher arm and gear pins). Infill: * Base: 40–50% (The extra weight keeps the launcher from sliding during shots). Other Parts: 10–15% Gyroid. Supports: Required for launcher arm overhang. Assembly Instructions This is the exploded view of the launcher. Use the marked gear caps 1,2,3 as shown in the picture. If you find the gear tolerances are too tight for your specific printer setup, feel free to reach out or check the "Remixes" section. If you print this, please upload a make!! Happy Hooping!
