Heavy Duty 1/4" and 3/16" Shelf Pin / Peg (L-Shape Support Bracket) imperial

This is a replacement 1/4" and 3/16" shelf support pin featuring an L-shaped bracket design. Unlike standard cylindrical pegs, the flat bracket distributes the downward force of the shelf over a larger surface area, reducing stress on both the peg and the furniture wall.Recommended Print Settings: To achieve maximum strength and prevent the peg from snapping under shear stress, layer orientation is critical.Orientation: Print the model upside down with no supports. Do not print it standing upright. Printing flat forces the continuous filament paths to run lengthwise through the 1/4" or 3/16" cylinder, giving it shear strength.Perimeters (Walls): Set your walls to 4–6. Because the peg has a 1/4" or 3/16" diameter, this will essentially force the slicer to print the peg as solid, concentric rings, which is much stronger than using standard infill.Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.20mm for a good balance of detail and excellent layer adhesion.Material: Engineering-grade materials like Nylon, ASA, ABS, or PETG are highly recommended to prevent the plastic from creeping under continuous load. Nylon is particularly recommended for its durability.
