Dry MMU3 Buffer Box

In the MMU3 buffer, the filaments are exposed to humid room air and dust. Moisture can lead to bad prints and dust can clog the nozzle. Inspired by Filament Dry box cheap and simple von werner_rh | Kostenloses STL-Modell herunterladen | Printables.com, I have therefore constructed a Dry Box for the MMU3 buffer. Thank you all for sharing your experiences!   Now start with meeting the main parts: If you look at the downside of the buffer-box-cover you will see some slots like this: The SilikaGel tubes can be place here:   First you have to cut out the box cover like this, the wall around must not be removed because it is needed for gluing the buffer-box-cover. In my opinion the easiest way for cutting out is a Dremel-like tool: This wall has to be glued into the mounting slot going around the buffer-box-cover. I used hot glue: The separators have to be put into the 6 slots like this: Add the SilikaGel-Tubes: and the box and close it: Depending on the box there can be some space between separators and the bottom of the box. It is in order to handle different box sizes. In fact the slots for the separators have a depth of 3 cm so the box heigth can vary without resizing parts of the model.
