Combined Desiccant Cup / Hygrometer Mount for Filament Dry Box

A combined desiccant and hygrometer holder that slips into the pour hole of the lid of a plastic dry goods box. I like this approach as it is neater than using baggies. With this setup, I can get internal humidity down to 10-15%. Additional Materials (I bought from Amazon - not affiliated with any of them): • Wildone Cereal Storage Containers (6) • Tasogen 12 Pack Mini Digital Thermometer/Hygrometer • Dry & Dry 1 Quart Orange Premium Desiccant Indicating Silica Gel Beads Features • Plugs into existing hole in storage container lid. You can pull off the existing hinged plug on container lid for a nice, clean look • Desiccant can be accessed without taking container lid off • Desiccant is up where humidity is highest and there is room for a generously sized desiccant cup • Quarter turn connection between lid and cup ensures correct alignment of hygrometer Printing • I used Bambu Lab white PLA with default settings except, • In Bambu Studio, got good results by printing desiccant cup upright with slim tree support and default (weaker) support settings (Do not use the recommended settings for slim tree support) • Lid can be printed without support with only minor defects This Filament Storage Solution Inspired by: • Josh Murrah filament storage solution:   2.
