What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They are used to keep the site working (login, security, language) and — with your consent — to measure traffic and show relevant advertising.
How consent works on matplace.com
On your first visit we show a cookie banner with three buttons: Accept all, Reject all, and Settings (granular choice of categories). Until you decide, only strictly necessary cookies are set; analytics and marketing tracking is held back through Google Consent Mode v2.
Your choice is stored in the mp_consent cookie for 180 days.
You can change it at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer —
withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

What happens without consent
- Google Analytics loads but runs in cookieless mode (Consent Mode v2): no cookies are set, only aggregated and modeled signals are sent — no personal data.
- Meta Pixel and Contentsquare are not loaded at all — zero network requests, zero cookies.
How to manage your consent
- “Cookie settings” link in the site footer — the easiest way to change or withdraw consent.
- Delete the
mp_consentcookie in your browser — the banner will reappear. - Block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari.
Note: disabling necessary cookies may break login, requests and other site functionality.
