Description
My version of the new LTT flexible cable archesDownload and adjust the parameters to suit your magnets and application! Should work with pretty much any magnet size. The parametric bits are a lot less robust than the solid arches, so you might need to be careful.FeaturesAll the features of LTT flexible archesFully customizable Easy to printHow to useThese models are all parametric, and can be easily adapted to suit your magnets or application. Download the filesOpen in FusionSelect Modify -> Change ParametersModify parameters to suit!Press 'OK'Export & Print model as normalPrintingLike the solid version, these are easy to print, if you're familiar with printing TPU!85A TPU works really well, but you can work with 95A too. Any material should work for the rigid parts, but styrene based plastics (ABS and ASA) work best.InstructionsPrint the magnet mounts first (the two discs) with your rigid filament. Nothing special, standard settings should be fine. For the flexible component, you'll need to add a print pause step when you reach the first layer of the overhang. When the print pauses, insert your magnet mount prints from earlier and resume.Once the print finishes, you can install your magnets.Hardware requiredI found the 25x~7mm pot magnets with countersunk M4 screws worked well, the same ones I used for the rigid versions. You can also glue them in if you prefer!
