Drink Coaster and Vertical Coaster Holder (Updated with Hex Design)

A Coaster and StandA pretty standard drink coaster with a stand for vertical storage. This listing now includes an updated version of the coaster model with a hexagonal surface to help reduce surface tension/coasters sticking to wet cups/glasses.The smooth-surfaced coaster models are still available so you can choose which you'd like to print and use.CoastersI print these out of PETG at 0.2mm layer height with 15% grid infill. Any firm material should work fine for these.I have also printed these out of TPU. For TPU prints, I like to set a grid infill of 5% which gives you some firm, but squishy corners.These aren't the largest coasters, so all your cups may not fit, but the taper I applied to the inner part of the coaster does allow some wider glasses to rest on the taper. In the case of using a large coffee mug, I just flip it over and use the underside.StandThis is also printed at 0.2mm layer height. If you're worried about warping due to the width of the piece, you can use mouse ears to help keep corners on the print bed.How It Was MadeBoth models were made in entirety using FreeCAD 1.1.0.
